Snow Town at Zhuhai MixC, 珠海萬象匯, brought a green Christmas tree, glowing golden rings and red snow-roofed façades into a shopping district. Its attraction was a walk-through winter streetscape with scheduled artificial snowfall, rather than skiing or a natural-snow destination.
The 2025 snowfall calendar credited to the venue identifies November 2025–January 2026 without an exact January closing date. This guide looks back at that past season. It does not announce a return for Christmas 2026 or promise that the old schedule will be repeated.
Read the two snow schedules separately
| Historical item | Published 2025 arrangement | Important distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Overall season | November 2025–January 2026 | No exact final January date |
| Regular snowfall from | 21 November 2025 | Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and unspecified holidays |
| High Street, 高街 | Hourly, 15:00–20:00 | Starts on the hour |
| Lane, 里巷 | Hourly, 15:30–20:30 | Starts on the half-hour |
| Opening countdown lighting and snow | 19:30 on 21–23 November 2025 | These three opening dates, not a daily ceremony |
The thirty-minute offset is between starting times. It does not mean that each snowfall lasted thirty minutes. The calendar gives no individual session duration, and “hourly” should not be understood as continuous snow throughout the afternoon.
Read each area’s start times separately when choosing a session. A future edition would need its own dated programme, even if it used the same street names.
The tree and snowy façades are worth seeing between sessions
The past display featured a green tree with gold baubles, a luminous star and broad golden rings circling its outline. The rings give it a different silhouette from a tree decorated only with vertical strands of lights.
Alongside it, red house façades carry white snow-cap shapes around the rooflines, with illuminated musical notes and strings of lights above the street. These were decorative features rather than natural snowfall. Do not assume every small house was an accessible shop or market stall.
If you arrived between snow sessions, the tree and street composition offered something to see first. Visitors primarily interested in the snowfall, however, needed to establish that their date was an operating day before building a whole evening around it.
How the half-hour offset could shape a visit
On a scheduled historical operating day, one possible sequence was an on-the-hour session at High Street, followed by a decision about whether to continue to the Lane for the next half-hour start. This is a planning suggestion based on the timetable, not a guarantee that everyone could comfortably catch both.
Walking distance, crowds and the pace of children or older companions matter more than collecting every session. A clear meeting point is useful if someone leaves for food or a bathroom break, especially before a scheduled start brings more people into the same space.
The photographs show the appearance of the snowfall, not a guaranteed density for every performance. Outdoor conditions and operational changes also need to be considered. Do not expect an ice rink or snow-play attraction simply because the streets have a snow theme.
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve differ
The calendar explicitly marks 24 and 31 December 2025, both Wednesdays. It does not mark Thursday 25 December in the same way. The general word “holidays” is therefore insufficient to promise a Christmas Day snowfall session.
January 2026 appears in the overall campaign period, but that month label is not a complete day-by-day operating calendar. It also does not establish 31 January as the final day. For a special trip, a confirmed operating date is more useful than a broad seasonal headline.
A marked 31 December snow date does not imply a midnight countdown. If combining the display with dinner or other New Year plans, treat those as separate bookings and check the Zhuhai New Year’s Eve guide without assuming every venue shares one programme.
Getting to 102 Yinhua Road and finding the right entrance
The destination is Zhuhai MixC at 102 Yinhua Road, Xiangzhou, with the past display around gate 2, High Street and the Lane. For a taxi or ride-hailing journey, use the mall’s Chinese name and address, then agree on gate 2 as a meeting reference rather than simply saying “near the Christmas tree”.
Older guides may use Youtehui, 優特匯, or bus-stop names containing that earlier name. The relevant stops were renamed 珠海農商銀行 from 12 May 2026. Routes including 26 and 99 provide a starting point for planning, but a future journey still requires a direction-specific check from your actual starting point.
Do not transplant an old ferry-and-bus itinerary, another mall’s walking distance or an assumed short border transfer into this visit. Arriving from Hong Kong or Macau involves a separate journey from the terminal or checkpoint to Yinhua Road. Leave enough time for the return connection and any border formalities.
What kind of Zhuhai outing suits this display?
The historical Snow Town suited visitors who wanted a lights walk before dinner or after shopping. Its strengths were the distinctive tree, façades and scheduled snow rather than an all-day programme of stage performances.
For snow sports, a large craft market or character appearances, choose an attraction offering those specific activities. Before booking a paid experience, read what the package includes; member-redemption conditions are separate from ordinary access to view the lights.
Accommodation can be considered separately using the Zhuhai hotel guide. The wider China Christmas guide offers other seasonal options, but Zhuhai’s Huanyucheng and Fuhuali are separate destinations, not alternative entrances to this Snow Town.
Frequently asked questions
Was the snowfall natural?
No. The programme involved artificial snowfall and winter-themed scenery, including decorative snow-covered rooflines.
Did both areas start at the same time?
No. The 2025 calendar lists High Street on the hour and the Lane on the half-hour. This offset does not establish the length of a session.
Was Christmas Day snowfall guaranteed?
The past calendar does not support that guarantee. Unlike 24 and 31 December, 25 December is not explicitly marked.
Did the event end on 31 January 2026?
The campaign only specifies January 2026. No exact last day is established.
Is the same display confirmed for late 2026?
No. This guide covers the past 2025–2026 season. A return, theme and timetable for a new edition depend on new arrangements.
