The first decision for Ocean Park Halloween Fest 2026 is whether you want a daytime seasonal visit or the designated day-and-night experience. Dates and ticket combinations differ. Choose according to your group’s tolerance for scares before buying a product labelled Halloween.

Daytime activities run from 5 September to 1 November 2026. The late programme operates on only 13 designated dates. This guide uses current official calendars and rules; the photographs show dated everyday park scenes, not this year’s haunted attractions.

    2026 dates and hours

    Visit type Dates Planning point
Daytime season 5 September–1 November 2026 Use the actual daily park and programme calendar
    Day-and-night dates 9–11, 16–19, 23–25, 30–31 October; 1 November Published park hours on these 13 dates: 10am–11pm
Haunted experiences Selected hours on those dates A 10am park opening is not the haunted-attraction opening

Use the official ticket calendar for the overall dates. Under the Castle, for example, lists 5–11pm. Visiting within the wider Halloween season does not make an ordinary weekday a late haunted-attraction day. Current Castle hours.

For younger children or a lighter outing, start with Waterfront activities. The official family programme lists Bulu Boo’s trick-or-treat interaction at Waterfront Plaza from 11am to 5pm, while other games and character appearances have their own sessions. Daytime and interactive programme.

Friends keen on haunted experiences should choose a designated late date and prioritise the paid experiences they want. Companions who dislike scares do not need identical purchases. Agree on a bright, clearly identified meeting place if the group splits up.

Being old enough is not the same as enjoying a haunted attraction. Explain the atmosphere to children beforehand and let them decline. With a long evening of walking and waiting, a realistic rest and exit plan matters more than trying to extract every possible use from a ticket.

Three layers: admission, haunted access and priority service

Official standalone product Published price What to check
General admission HK$538 ages 12+; HK$269 ages 3–11 Excludes four designated haunted experiences and the OPPA Scaremonies performance at Applause Pavilion
Triple Terror Combo HK$238 non-peak; HK$280 peak Three haunted experiences once each; entry and FasTrack separate
Under the Castle Plus+ HK$280 Castle once plus three themed attractions; entry and FasTrack separate
Halloween Ocean FasTrack Standard HK$380; Pro HK$620 Priority service only; admission and haunted access separate

Prices checked on 8 October 2026. The haunted add-ons are dated: Triple Terror is non-peak on 9–11 and 16–19 October, peak on the remaining late dates. Their included OPPA access is capacity-limited and first-come, not a guaranteed place. Official inclusions and conditions.

General entry prices are also listed on the admission page. The ordinary Ocean FasTrack is not valid on the 13 designated Halloween dates: compare the Halloween version, rather than buying by the word priority alone. Official FasTrack versions.

A platform may separately bundle park admission with a haunted add-on. That is different from the official standalone product. Klook’s Ocean Park page lists both ordinary admission and Halloween options; check the chosen date, entry, named experiences, priority service and cancellation individually.

A bundle expressly including admission and a standalone add-on excluding it can both be valid listings. Read your actual selection instead of assuming everything on the page is an all-inclusive ticket.

Triple Terror or Under the Castle?

Triple Terror covers Troublesome Night 8, Voodoo Boo Terror Park and Forbidden Asylum once each. It is the combination to compare if several different haunted themes appeal. Troublesome Night 8 is near Shark Mystique at the Summit; Forbidden Asylum is near Crazy Galleon. Establish the locations before joining queues. Troublesome Night location; Asylum location.

Under the Castle is a separate product, with its haunted experience near Bumper Blaster at the Summit. Prioritise it if that theme and its associated paid spaces particularly appeal. The word VIP does not turn the product into access to every haunted attraction or a Halloween FasTrack. Castle experience and location.

With one evening, choosing the content you genuinely want is more useful than buying everything. Allow for food, movement between zones and waiting. Two haunted products do not shorten queues, and priority service still has a designated list and usage limits.

    Age, costumes and suitability

Under-fives cannot enter the four designated haunted experiences. The organiser also advises against participation for pregnant visitors and people with the listed health conditions, including heart disease, hypertension, claustrophobia or epilepsy, or those unwell or affected by alcohol or drugs. Official age and suitability restrictions.

For ordinary park entry, children aged 11 or below must be accompanied by someone aged 15 or above. Under-threes enter free, but that does not override haunted-attraction restrictions. Official admission age rules.

The official 2026 costume guide welcomes dressing up, with security checks and restrictions on dangerous or offensive objects. Confirm unusual masks and large props with the park before bringing them; an invitation to cosplay is not approval for every accessory. Official costume guide.

General rules prohibit bags and containers larger than 56×36×23cm and ask carers to judge activities according to children’s individual attributes. Wear shoes suitable for slopes and steps, avoid outfits that obstruct your vision, and follow each attraction’s instructions for storing belongings. Park rules.

The cable-car photograph illustrates everyday park transport, not a promise of operation or queue time on your date. Halloween theming also extends to Ocean Express. If darkness or sound effects are a concern, check the current description and ask staff about suitable transport rather than deciding at the boarding point.

If staying until 11pm, check the whole route from the exit to the station and onward connections. Park closing time does not guarantee your final train or a cross-border connection. Ocean Park’s website announces its app suspension from 1 July 2026; use the website calendar and map rather than relying on older app advice.

For a return to Shenzhen, compare the routes in our Hong Kong to Shenzhen transport guide, then check actual border and service hours. Visitors staying in Hong Kong should also agree on a meeting point and hotel direction before choosing the last activity.

    Common booking questions

Does ordinary admission cover every haunted attraction?
No. The four designated experiences require the relevant entitlement. Admission, haunted access and priority service must be checked separately.
Does FasTrack replace a haunted ticket?
The official Halloween FasTrack excludes both park admission and the haunted add-on. Any platform bundle must expressly list what it adds.
Does rain automatically mean a refund?
No. Official event conditions include restrictions on refunds or rescheduling for bad-weather cancellation. Your seller’s chosen-product terms need a separate check.
