North Paradise Walk’s 2025 Christmas centrepiece was a Roman-inspired Bvlgari festive tree in Constellation Plaza. Serpentine lines, golden lighting and an eight-pointed star created a luminous sculpture rather than a conventional green fir covered in baubles. A separate fragrance pop-up offered a different reason to stay after viewing the installation.
This guide recalls the Christmas 2025 tree and early-2026 fragrance pop-up, with the Guanyinqiao approach. It does not describe a new late-2026 edition.
Two destinations, with different timing information
| Element | Historical location or arrangement | Important distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Roman festive tree | Constellation Plaza at North Paradise Walk | Do not use the fragrance pop-up’s dates or opening hours for the tree |
| Bvlgari fragrance pop-up | Building A, LG-CW-W-02 | Open during December 2025; continued through 20 January 2026 |
| Pop-up opening hours | 10:00–22:00 | Not the outdoor tree’s lighting timetable |
| Lighting ceremony | A special occasion during December 2025 | Not a daily lighting performance |
The 10:00–22:00 hours and 20 January ending apply specifically to the fragrance pop-up. They do not guarantee that the outdoor tree remained until the same date. Equally, the national Paradise Walk promotion finishing on 21 December did not mean this pop-up closed then.
What made the Roman tree different?
Glass-like material spiralled around a brass structure, topped by the brand’s eight-pointed star. Golden lighting traced the rising form. From farther away, the overall silhouette mattered; closer up, the interplay between translucent surfaces, framework and light distinguished it from a traditional branch-and-bauble tree.
Constellation Plaza is the useful landmark for the installation. North Paradise Walk contains multiple buildings and entrances, so a meeting point should include the plaza name. For the fragrance space, use Building A, the LG level and the unit reference instead.
Do not judge it only by height or treat it as a walk-in, climbable or rideable attraction. Its appeal was a designed light installation in a shopping district, not the promise of an amusement-park Christmas village. That distinction matters when children are expecting rides rather than scenery.
Four fragrance areas complemented the outdoor display
| Historical area | Focus |
|---|---|
| Legendary moments | Darjeeling Tea and tea-inspired heritage fragrances |
| Exceptional moments | The jewellery-inspired Le Gemme and gentleman collections |
| Sparkling moments | Allegra and the crystalline collection |
| Artistic inspiration | Brand artistry and design ideas |
These sections extended the visual celebration into a fragrance experience. Visitors interested in tea scents or jewellery-inspired perfume could focus on a particular family rather than sample everything. Someone mainly interested in the tree could keep the indoor stop optional.
Viewing a display, buying a product and receiving a promotional gift are separate activities. Check viewing arrangements, service reservations, purchase thresholds and any gift conditions separately. Arriving at a brand pop-up does not entitle every visitor to free perfume.
The indoor and outdoor stops also accommodate different preferences. A companion who does not enjoy concentrated fragrance may prefer the plaza, while someone selecting a gift may want longer with the product presentation. Agreeing on the correct building and level makes splitting up simpler.
A celebrity lighting event was not a daily programme
Brand ambassador Zhou Yiran participated in the 2025 festive lighting content and read wishes. This was a special occasion, not a recurring performance or a promise that a future visitor will encounter the guest.
An older Bvlgari pop-up at the same mall ran during the 2024–2025 Lunar New Year season. Similar branding and location do not make its dates, engraving services or participation arrangements valid for Christmas 2025. Check the season before relying on an attractive photograph or an older event description.
Guanyinqiao Metro to the mall, then the correct plaza or level
Use Guanyinqiao station on Chongqing Rail Transit Line 3 or Line 9. Use exits 5 or 7 and head toward North Paradise Walk’s southeast entrance 1. This is a general mall approach, not a designated Christmas admission gate.
Once within the complex, follow Constellation Plaza signs for the historical tree location. For the fragrance pop-up, the destination was Building A, level LG, unit LG-CW-W-02. The mall entrance, the district’s large screen and the tree should not be treated as one identical point.
Street level, footbridges and shopping floors can produce different walking routes in Guanyinqiao. These directions do not promise a fixed journey time or a completely step-free path. Visitors with a stroller or mobility requirement should prioritise current lift and accessible-route signs over following a particular photography spot. The Chongqing transport guide can help with wider transfers.
How to fit the stop into an evening
The plaza works best as a defined stop before or after a meal in Guanyinqiao, rather than a reason to wait indefinitely for an unconfirmed ceremony. A design-focused visit can begin with the tree’s full silhouette and continue indoors. A short festive walk can concentrate on the plaza alone.
For visitors staying in Jiefangbei, Guanyinqiao is not simply the next section of the same pedestrian street. Allow for a cross-river journey and any transfer. The Chongqing hotel guide helps compare districts rather than choosing accommodation solely around a historical installation photograph.
A future return would require a fresh check of the plaza arrangement, dates and pop-up rules. The useful enduring lesson is to separate the outdoor light installation from the branded shopping experience, so each part of the visit matches your interests.
